The core difference between the two designs is the Phase is a more capable system because the ultrasound can be spatially controlled. How it works

Prophetic induces lucidity by sending safe, low-intensity ultrasonic energy through the forehead and into the prefrontal cortex.

This area of the brain is naturally downregulated during normal non-lucid dreams. And it is upregulated during lucid dreams.

We help to rebalance this activity and gently push you into greater lucidity.

Our effect

Here's the effect of our modulation on dream experience. We've seen the largest effect in people who have difficulty perceiving or recalling dreams under normal circumstances.

Results showing effect on dream experience

During stimulation we have recorded EEG time–frequency maps (event-related spectral perturbation, or ERSP). Warmer colors mean more power relative to baseline; cooler colors mean less. Across fronto-parietal channels, you can see a sustained increase in beta-band and some gamma-band activity after the stimulus, which is consistent with the fronto-parietal engagement we target for enhanced dreaming.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe?

Yes. The Dual and Phase emit ultrasound focalized energy levels in the same range used on pregnant mothers for sonograms.

It does not implant anything into the brain, use ionizing radiation, or physically damage brain tissue. Unlike ionizing radiation such as X-rays, ultrasound does not cause cancer.

Do you put ads in my dreams?

No. Ultrasound cannot insert advertisements or scripted content into someone's dreams. Ultrasound neuromodulation can influence broad brain states or probabilities like attention, mood, or whether someone becomes lucid. It cannot transmit complex information, images, language, or branded content into the brain.

Can I trade in my Dual for a Phase?

Yes. We will have a trade-in program for the Dual and Phase. Details will be announced in the future.
